"What you leave behind is not what is engraved in stone monuments,
but what is woven into the lives of others."
-Pericles

A lifelong Stratford resident, Quinn grew up next door to the grounds of the former American Shakespeare Festival Theater and always hoped to see it revitalized. He passed away in June 2012 from a rare form of brain cancer at age 19, having led life to the fullest — traveling  around the world, performing in numerous theatrical productions, graduating from high school and attending Loyola University of Chicago.

The Mighty Quinn Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charity, is dedicated to the educational and theatrical experiences of young men and women. To honor Quinn's passion for learning and love of theater, we provide scholarships and theater study programs for high school and college students, and also provide artistic and creative opportunities for young artists to grow, learn and perform.

We are proud to be a member of The Shakespeare Theatre Association (STA).  STA was established to provide a forum for the artistic, managerial, educational leadership for theatres primarily involved with the production of the works of William Shakespeare; to discuss issues and methods of work, resources, and information; and to act as an advocate for Shakespearean productions and training.
